Frances is known for many valuable characteristics: his integrity, his passion for others, his desire to help-but most notably his laugh. Frances’ laugh is not just contagious, its joyful. Frances is able to connect with some of the most closed-off people with his gentle smile, kind demeanor and joyful laugh. As executive director, Frances does a little bit of everything while still finding a balance of what areas to focus on for future growth. Frances works with the scholars, leads community walk-throughs, spends on-on-one time with scholars and engages the USA team for the best support moving forward.
Moses Aboka
Communications Director
Moses has a presence about him that cannot be described, only felt. Moses reaches out to the community to involve local businesses and leaders to help support Fikisha. Moses really is the voice of Fikisha in that he advocates for our scholars in a way that really honors and protects them, while still sharing the reality of the hardship they experience. Moses also works diligently with the BWAB staff to find the support and resources needed and what moves to make to get them.
Sam Bretzmann
Fundraising and BWAB Global
Sam, with the support of his wife Alanna, has a passion for Kenya while living in Southern California. Sam is quick to listen and his genuine concern for finding healthy long-term solutions brings a humbleness and practicality to our team. Sam and his family work to find donors to support Fikisha both financially and sustainability. Sam has a passion for relationships and seeks to surround our Fikisha staff and scholars with people that will encourage and love them for the long haul.
